Yunus AKSOY is a 37-year-old, young visionary leader. He earned his master’s degree in Public Administration from California State University Long Beach. While studying at Cal State Long Beach, he became involved in what has become his life’s passion – making a difference in his community. For the past ten years, Yunus AKSOY has dedicated himself to improving the lives of the members of the community.
As a business owner, Yunus AKSOY has tremendous experience in economic development, especially in housing and real estate. He built AKSOY Real Estate, a thriving brokerage and property management company. He is well-respected and known as a compassionate businessman who understands the importance of a strong, favorable, business environment.
Working with various nonprofit community-based organizations as well as city government, Yunus AKSOY believes that being involved makes a real difference in people’s lives. With his enthusiasm and unique experience, Yunus AKSOY is a different kind of politician – one committed to moving beyond the partisan gridlock to build consensus, harmony, and a positive spirit in our city and on the City Council.
A key element of Yunus AKSOY’s platform is that he places great value on supporting education by having great schools that not only benefit Irvine’s youngest citizens but also help drive property values higher. He is running for City Council so that he can give back to the community and help keep Irvine a great place to live.
Yunus AKSOY has put down roots and made Irvine his home with his wife Melissa, son Daniel, and expecting daughter Jasmine, due on November 2. He loves Irvine as the place to raise his family, grow his business, and represent his community.
